Former Councilor and Chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC in Ogun State, Hon. Olayinka Adegun has inaugurated Polling Unit Strikers in Ward 10, Abeokuta South Local Goverment in support of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC governorship candidate, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, Yayi and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The event which took place on Friday at ward 10, Isale Ijeun, Abeokuta had in attandance the House of Representatives Member, Hon. Afolabi Afuape, the Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Environment and MD OGWAMA, Hon. Farouq Akintunde, the House of Assembly candidate in Abeokuta South constituency 11, Hon. Ademuyiwa Adeyemi, the party chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Henry Fagbenro, the chairman of Alternate Medicine, Chief Nurudeen Olaleye, former councilor and former chairmanship aspirant in Abeokuta South, Hon. the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Hon. Babatunde Delu,  the Senior Consultant to the Governor, Hon. Adefolu, the former Supervisor in the local government, Hon.  Akano Yaya amongst others.

Hon. Adegun, former councilor in his speech appreciated the party members for coming out in enmasse to support the Presidential candidate, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governorship candidate, Senator Yayi ahead of the poll, saying that the polling strikers were inagurated by him in support of all APC candidates.

He said that the responsibility of the polling unit strikers is to go their various polling units and preach the gospel of the party, APC so as to win the hearts of the people.

Adegun urged them to be more committed in wining massives votes for the candidates.

The former councilor maintained that the good deeds of the party will not let the party to lose in 2027.

He urged his ward members  to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC governoship candidate, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, Yayi, Hon. Afolabi Afuape and Hon. Ademuyiwa Adeyemi ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The House of Reps Member, Hon. Afolabi Afuape in his speech urged the polling unit strikers to be committed towards mobilising massive votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Yayi and other APC candidates ahead of the upcoming general elections.

He said that the party APC has done well for the citizens of the State, mentioning areas of econnomy, infrastructure, security and others.

Also the party chairman of the local government, Hon. Henry Fagbenro commended Hon Yinka Adegun on his initiative, saying that it will strenghten grassroots mobilization in securing votes for President Tinubu, Senator Yayi, Afolabi Afuape and Hon. Adeyemi ahead of the elections.

He therefore urged the polling unit strikers to work relentlessly in achieving the aims and objectives of the  initiative.

The Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Environment, Hon. Farouq Akintunde who is also the party leader in ward 10 maintained that he felt elated to see  large number of party members present, saying that it shows they are well prepared for the upcoming elections.

He said that he has done a lot for his people in ward 10 in term of empowerment, saying that in the last two weeks he has empowered 120 party members.

Akintunde therefore urged the polling unit strikers to go to their polling units amd convince the people to support APC ahead of the election.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abiodun on Youth Development, Hon. Babatunde Delu in his speech appreciated all the party leaders present for their support since the commencement of the program.

He said that the essence of the polling unit strikers is to preach the gospel of APC candidates and mobilse massive votes for them ahead of the elecions.

Delu maintained that he has inaugurated polling unit strikers in his ward, saying that ward 10 is powered by Hon. Adegun.

Hon Yinka Adegun in his closing remarks urged the polling unit strikers to perform beyond the expectations of the party leaders, the APC candidates in winning more support, votes and victory across board.
