Applications have opened for the Skills 101: Mobile Phone Repairs Training, an initiative powered by Wale Kuku and co-powered by Hon. Kassim Oluyinka, aimed at providing participants with practical skills in mobile phone repairs and creating a pathway to longer-term work opportunities.

The three-day practical training will give participants hands-on exposure to basic mobile phone repair techniques. According to the organisers, the programme is designed not only as a short-term training opportunity but also as a potential entry point into further skills development and employment.

Following the initial training, the best-performing participants will be selected for an extension course. Successful participants in the extension programme will have the opportunity to become Repair Partners within the NG Device Care Hub.

The organisers said the initiative will provide participants who demonstrate skill, commitment and capacity with an opportunity to progress beyond the initial three-day training.
