The people of Okun-Owa Community in Ward 3, Odogbolu Local Government Area, Ogun State and its environs, have expressed their profound appreciation to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for the commencement of the reconstruction of the long-neglected Okun-Owa–Ijebu-Ode Road, via Agoro and Ikangba.

It will be recalled that the Governor recently identified the road as one of his priority projects. True to his promise and in demonstration of his commitment as a listening and responsive leader, he has mobilised contractors to the site, and construction work is currently progressing at an encouraging pace.

Speaking on behalf of the community, the Councillor representing Ward 3, Hon. (Amb.) Hammed Yusuf Moboluwaduro (HYM), also commended all individuals who genuinely advocated for the realisation of this important project.

Among those deserving of commendation are the Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Dr. Babatunde Oyetola Diya; the Member representing the constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Lukman Olalekan Adeleye; the Governor's Liaison Officer (GLO), Hon. Ladejobi Shuaib; and the Member, representing Ijebu-Ode, Odogbolu, and Ijebu North-East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Barr. Olufemi Adeleke Ogunbanwo. He also extended his appreciation to the political leaders, party faithful and other stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area who contributed to the successful actualisation of the project.

Hon. Yusuf expressed confidence that the commencement of the road reconstruction has brought immense joy, relief and excitement to residents of Okun-Owa and neighbouring communities. He noted that the project would significantly improve transportation, facilitate commercial activities and enhance the overall socio-economic development of the area.

He further expressed optimism that this remarkable gesture would strengthen the confidence of the people in the present administration and inspire residents of the ward and adjoining communities to demonstrate their appreciation through massive support for the party's candidates in the forthcoming elections.

According to him, the Governor, who is also the APC's senatorial candidate for Ogun East, has demonstrated through his actions that he is a leader who listens to the yearnings of the people and responds to their needs.

In conclusion, Hon. Yusuf expressed the community's heartfelt gratitude to the Governor, stating:
