OGHA Chief Whip, Hon. Bakare, Commences Another Phase of Constituency Projects in Ijebu-Ode

The Chief Whip of the Ogun State House of Assembly and member representing Ijebu-Ode State Constituency, Hon. (Mrs.) Omolola Olanrewaju Bakare, has commenced another phase of constituency projects aimed at addressing community needs and improving the living conditions of residents across Ijebu-Ode.

The latest development underscores the lawmaker’s continued engagement with her constituents through grassroots-oriented interventions designed to promote community development and improve access to essential infrastructure.

The new phase of the constituency projects includes the construction of a four-unit toilet facility with a borehole and generator set at Ijebu-Ode Grammar School; the provision of a borehole with a generator set at Ondo Road; another borehole project with a generator set at Oju Eka; and the installation of 150 units of 200-watt solar streetlights across Ijebu-Ode State Constituency.

Hon. Bakare, who represents Ijebu-Ode State Constituency in the 10th Ogun State House of Assembly, has consistently identified constituency development as an important aspect of her legislative responsibility, with particular attention to projects that respond to the needs and aspirations of the people.

Her approach to representation recognises that effective governance goes beyond legislative activities to include practical interventions that directly address challenges confronting communities.

The commencement of another phase of projects is expected to further extend development interventions to additional communities while complementing existing efforts towards improving public infrastructure and essential services in the constituency.

It would be recalled that the lawmaker had previously facilitated several community projects in Ijebu-Ode, including the construction of a 40-unit open-stall market at Itamapako, borehole water facilities, a public toilet facility at Oke-Aje Market, and a Primary Health Care Centre at Sabo Molode.

As another phase of constituency projects gets underway, expectations remain that the interventions will provide further opportunities to address local infrastructure gaps, stimulate economic activities, and improve the general well-being of residents
