The Executive Chairman of Ijebu Ode Local Government, Alhaji Babatunde EMILOLA-GAZAL, has congratulated the trio of Alhaji Onagbenga ONAYEMI; Mr. Phillips Olalekan OGUNPITAN; and Comrade Dapo BANJO, on their appointments as Heads of Local Government Administration in the local government service of Ogun State, by the Governor, Prince Dapo ABIODUN, MFR.

The Chairman according to a release from the Council's Director, Information, Education and Sports, Tope OYEKAN, congratulated the appointees, as he wished them more successes and fulfillment in their career.

"I congratulate you all on this well-deserved appointment of yours. 

I want you to see it as a call to more higher responsibilities, and I urge you to further key-in into the "Building Our Future Together Agenda", of our dear Governor, Prince Dapo ABIODUN, as it relates to good governance and quality service delivery at the grassroot", said the Chairman.

"As you journey ahead in your professional career, I pray and wish you more successes and fulfillment", the Chairman added.

Alhaji EMILOLA-GAZAL also thanked the Governor, Prince ABIODUN for his approval of the appointment of the new council Heads, assuring His Excellency of the  professional competence and managerial expertise of the appointees.

Alhaji ONAYEMI was the Acting Head of Local Government Administration, and Director of Finance/Treasurer, Ijebu Ode Local Government, before his recent appointment; while OGUNPITAN, now at Ijebu North Local Government, was the immediate past Acting Head of Local Government Administration, and Director of Finance/Treasurer at Ijebu Ode Local Government; and BANJO, presently at Odogbolu Local Government, was a former Director, General Services and Administration, also at Ijebu Ode Local Government.

It will be recalled that the Governor also recently appointed Dr. Adeolu OLUFOWOBI, the former Head of Local Government Administration of Ijebu Ode Local Government as the Permanent Secretary of the Local Government Service Commission, Ogun State.
