Abiodun added that proportional performance is better when compared to the 44 percent proportionate performance recorded in the third quarter of the year 2020.

He noted that the development was an historic achievement, informing that "the budget credibility as determined by performance in year 2021 was better than what we have in the history of our State".

Speaking on the performance which is revenue-driven, Abiodun said "judging from our Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), we were able to achieve 80 percent performance as at September 30’’, noting that out of the State IGR budget size of N121,806,876,775.63 this year, a sum of N73,064,877,599.72 was generated as at third quarter September ending.

The Governor highlighted some of the key achievements of the 2021 Fiscal year to include infrastructural development in all parts of the State, to include the completion of Ijebu-Ode-Epe road in Ogun East Senatorial District, the flag off of the Atan-Lusada-Agbara road in Ogun West expected to be completed in 2022 and the reconstruction of Abeokuta-Sagamu interchange road in Ogun Central.

He added that no fewer than 34 roads spanning over 270km had been reconstructed while another set of 41 roads covering over 322km were rehabilitated, just as over 600km of rural, intra-state and inter-state roads spread across the three Senatorial Districts have been constructed in line with the administration's commitment to ensure even development of the State.

In the Education sector, the Governor informed that over 956 state-owned schools had been rehabilitated, stressing that the sum of N200 million had been approved as annual State Education Intervention Fund for the development of infrastructure in state-owned tertiary institutions among others.
