Ogun East Frontline Senatorial Aspirant and Special Assistant to the Minister of State for Education, Engr. Adewale Adenaike has commended Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for launching Operation MESA in the State recently.

Engr. Adewale Adenaike made this known in an Interview with our Correspondent in Ijebu Ode.

Engr. Adenaike said this is a welcome development adding that it will end criminal activities by the hoodlums in the State.

" Security is a serious Business, without Adequate Security, lives and properties are not safe but with the launch of the state joint security outfit, code-named OP-MESA recently by the Governor, it has shown that Prince Dapo Abiodun is determined to secure the life and property of the citizenry." He said.

Engr Adewale further said that a secure Environment will attract Investors to the state.

It will be recalled that, according to the State Governor, the Ogun State Government will soon set up its own financial crimes agency to deal with internet frauds and illegal financial transactions, especially, those having to do with kidnapping, ransom taking and advance fee frauds.

 The governor also disclosed that it is working with federal agencies and its Oyo State counterpart in the area of security along the border lines.

Governor Abiodun noted that the high spate of criminality especially kidnapping prompted the government's decision, saying his administration cannot afford to leave the safety of the people at the mercy of hoodlums.

Engr Adewale Adenaike then urged the citizens of the state to continue to support Dapo Abiodun led Administration.
