The Executive Chairman, Ikenne Local Government, Ogun State, Hon. Olusegun OGUNLEYE, has commended the council staff for their competence and loyalty in the outgone year.

Hon. OGUNLEYE gave the commendation, while speaking at the prayer session held at the council secretariat on Monday, to usher in the new year.

The Chairman appreciated the staff for their competence, loyalty, and diligence in the outgone year 2021, urging them to imbibe the culture of dedication to duty in the year 2022.

He charged them to be good ambassadors of the local government wherever they are, and shun lateness and absenteeism at their various duty posts.

While wishing the entire staff a prosperous and rewarding 2022, Hon. OGUNLEYE prayed that they will all gather together to celebrate in the year 2023.

In his remarks, the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Ikenne Local Government branch, Comrade Babatunde OLA, appreciated everyone present at the prayer session, and implored the staff to sustain a good attitude towards their job.

The Vice Chairman, Hon. Abolanle FAKOYA; and members of the management team, joined the Chairman in the session.
