The Executive Chairman, Ijebu Ode Local Government, Alhaji Babatunde Emilola GAZAL has inaugurated his cabinets who will be running the affairs of the council with him.

The Council Boss speaking during the Inauguration said  it is not by sheer  coincidence that the appointees were selected among other qualified party members but it is divinely ordained by Allah, urgiy them not to allow any  form of disappointment by trivializing the unique opportunity in their quality of service to the people.

He appreciates the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his untiring efforts at building a state that conform with the vision of founding fathers in Ogun State.

" Let me say here that the Giant strides taken by this administration in Ogun State has yeilded a remarkable results that can not be denied even by the people in opposition", said Alhaji Gazal.

He therefore thanked the people of Ijebu Ode Local Government for believing in their administration since assumption of office as the Executive chairman in the Council Area.

He further charged the newly sworn-in appointees to imbibe the spirit of teamwork and oneness in other to achieve something meaningful. 

"As members of political class, we must always be conscious of our responsibilities to the people that we represent, knowing fully well, we shall one day, stand before throne of judgement to give account of our stewardship before the creator".

Gazalvthen appeal to the public in paying their rates and levels in accordance with the law, as it will ehance the government to provide basic amenities like grading of roads, clearing of drainages, disposal of waste and other yearnings of indigenes in the council area.

Earlier, Mr. Oluseye Soyoye, Director, General Services and Administration, Ijebu Ode Local Government administered the Oath of Allegiance to the newly sworn-in appointees, witnessed by sons and daughters in the Council area.

 The appointees were, Hon. Sunday Bolaji Joseph Adesanya(SBJ) as secretary to Local Government.

Supervisors;

Hon. Gbayi Oshifeso, Hon. Bunmi Okunowo, Deacon Johnson Adeleke Agbolade and Mr. Tobi Kehinde Tiamiyu.

 Special Advisers;

Mrs. Iyabo Kuku.

Mr. Fatai Kukoyi and Mr. Wasiu Quadri.

Consultant;

Olalekan  Moruf Adeboyejo and Mrs. Rasheedat Balogun.

While showing gratitude on behalf of other appointees, SBJ Adesanya, Secretary to the Local Government, promised to discharge their duties in line with lay down regulations guiding their offices. 

He further appreciates all the party leaders in attendance.
