Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been extolled for upgrading infrastructural facilities and equipment of State Hospitals across the State, allowing patients with critical conditions receive adequate care without being referred to a teaching hospital.

The Chief Medical Director, State Hospital, Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government, Dr. Yusuf AbdulWahab said this in an interview with OGIS correspondent in Ilaro, appreciated the Governor for providing modern medical equipment for the hospital.

Dr. Abdulwahab pointed out that the government had recruited medical consultants, pharmacists, nurses, among other personnel, to deliver quality health care services, which had led to an increase in patronage since the inception of the present government.

“The Governor has done well by upgrading our hospitals to international standard with the supply of modern medical equipment and we now handle critical cases successfully", Abdulwahab said.

 He called on philanthropists and private organisations to join hands with the government to further develop the hospitals through donations of medical and non-medical equipment for the benefit of the people.
