The Chairman, Ogun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Evang. Olalekan Ifede has said that the present administration will continue to support and motivate teachers to encourage and inspire them for effective service delivery.

Evang. Ifede gave this assurance during unscheduled monitoring to Itori Comprehensive high school and Methodist High School, Arigbajo in Ewekoro Local Government Area of the State.

He urged school administrators and teaching staff to be committed to duties, conform to the laid down rules guiding their profession and ensure they lay good legacies for students to emulate, urging them to always conclude their syllabus with students at end of every term.

"The Government has put in place resources to develop the standard of education in the State, and expect teachers to reciprocate the gesture," he said.

Speaking earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Teaching Service Commission Dr Abdulwaheed Olanloye said that teachers are the pivot of education fortune and should dissipate their teaching skills with strong zeal, imploring them to perfectly mould students under their supervision to foster a peaceful and advanced academic system.

In her response, the Principal of Methodist High school (Junior), Mrs. Adeotan Abioye, assured that Principals and teachers would work hand in hand to meet up with the government’s expectation to build a vital generation that the Nation would be proud of.
