The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu has highlighted right attitude and core values among others as major determinants for success among youths.

 Prof. Arigbabu said this during the launch of "Value Transformation Roundtables" by Project55 Africa, at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ojere, Abeokuta, encouraging youths to imbibe positive and achievable goals for themselves

While lamenting the way social vices have characterised the lives of many youths nowadays, Arigbabu said ‘’if society were to be a better place of abode, youths must shun vices like cultism, ritual killing, drug abuse, examination malpractices, thuggery, kidnapping and others’’.

He urged them not to venture into any character that can lead them to problems.

"No matter your condition, no matter your situation, if you properly set your mind on your goals and you work towards them, you will achieve whatever you set for yourself", Arigbabu submitted.

The Commissioner stated that the word like shame and fear have no place in the society today, as people have thrown caution to the wind without being mindful of the implications of a bad attitude, calling on all and sundry to join hands with the government to properly sanitise the society.

Speaking, the Acting Rector, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Dr Adeoye Odedeji, while commending the organiser, described the initiative as a value reorientation programme put in place to empower people in terms of building capacity for financial liberation.

 On his part, the Founder, of Project55 Africa, Mr. Ade Adeyemi who is also an Alumni of the institution said the summary of the project is to create wealth and ensure Africans are transformed financially.
