Civil/Public Servants have been called upon to work conscientiously, show cooperation, understanding, support and above all, be full of prayers for the new Head of Service in order for him to succeed in his new assignment.

The newly sworn-in 19th Head of Service in the State, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun, made the call during a surprise welcome prayer for him to triumphantly usher him into his new office as the Head of Service of Ogun State, held in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

According to him, his success or otherwise in office depends on the understanding and support the workers accord his office, hence, the need for all hands to be on deck to discharge their statutory duties well and urged the workers to always do the right things at the right time.

While appreciating all the workers led by Permanent Secretaries from Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) for the show of love, Mr. Fagbohun charged members of staff, especially those in Internally Generating Revenue (IGR) agencies in the State to always do the needful as well as avoid leakages and wastage in their undertakings so that various demands of the workers can be adequately met by the government.

"Whether the job of the Head of Service is simple or tough depends on the entire Public Service. If you help the HoS, you help yourself. All of us should cooperate and be one.
