The Indigenes of Orile-Oko, Remo. Remo North Local Government, Ogun State have congratulated the former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba on his conferment of the third highest national honour as the Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic, CFR.

This was stated in a congratulatory statement personally signed by the Lisa Oloko of Orile Oko, Remo.  Remo North Local Government,  High Chief Olakunle Olalekan.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday conferred Nigeria’s third highest national honour,Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) on former governor of Ogun State and All progressives Congress National leader, Chief Olusegun Osoba .

He described the national award for the ex- governor as a well-deserved one.

Olalekan maintained that  Osoba's contribution to Ogun state as Governor was unquantifiable and his contributions to the party, APC at the State and National level can not be undermined.

The statement reads" on behalf of the good people of Orile-Oko, Remo. Remo North Local Government, I congratulate the former Governor of the State and National leader of the party, APC on the  conferment of honours as the Commander of the order of the Federal Republic, CFR. We are so happy about the great news. It  is a well-deserved one and as well a proud testament to your many years of hard work and dedication to the service of humanity and our fatherland.
