As part of support for child health and safety, Hon. Adebukanla Jamiu, Councilor representing Ward 4, Ijebu Ode Local Government has donated First Aid kits to several primary school pupils in his constituency.

The donation, made to Otubu Memorial Primary School, Community Primary School, St. Michael Primary School and Joke Taiwo Primary School all at Apebi in Ijebu Ode Area is part of his ongoing commitment to improving the welfare of young learners and ensuring a safe learning environment.

Speaking, Hon. Adebukanla emphasised the importance of early healthcare education and safety preparedness.

"As a Councilor representing this Apebi Area, I am donating this First Aid Kit to the pupils of Primary Schools in my Ward.

Let me tell you, Children spend a large part of their day in school, and it’s vital that they have access to basic medical supplies in case of emergencies,” He said.

He then urge the pupils of the primary schools to face their studies as they were the future leaders of the Nation

In their Separate Remarks Head teacher, St Michael Catholic Primary School, Mrs. Onakoya Adetutu  and Head teacher of Community Primary School Apebi, Comrade Oduntan Sunday, expressed appreciation for the kind gesture, noting that the kits would aid the management of minor injuries and instill health-conscious habits among the pupils.

Responding, Head girl of Otubu Memorial Primary School, Miss Isa Ganiyat thanked the Councilor on behalf of the pupils for donating the First Aid Kit.
