In a move aimed at improving the safety and well-being of young learners, Hon. Jamiu Kolawole Adebukanla, Councillor representing Ward 4 has announced plans to distribute First Aid kits to public primary schools within ward 4 Ijebu Ode Local Government.
This initiative is part of his broader commitment to enhancing basic healthcare and emergency preparedness in educational institutions.
Speaking during a press briefing, Hon. Adebukanla emphasized the importance of equipping schools with essential medical supplies to respond promptly to minor injuries and emergencies.
“Our children spend a significant part of their day at school, and it's vital that they are in a safe and responsive environment,” he said.
The distribution is expected to begin on Monday 4th May, 2025 covering all government-owned primary schools in the area.
Each school will receive a fully stocked First Aid kit.
The distribution is as follow;
