The Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) of Ijebu Ode Local Government, Alhaji Sulaimon Olalekan Ayinla, joins the rest of the nation in celebrating the hardworking men and women of Nigeria on the occasion of Workers’ Day 2025.

In a statement released from his office, Alhaji Ayinla praised the dedication, perseverance, and commitment of Nigerian workers, especially those serving within the Ijebu Ode Local Government. He described them as the engine room of governance and vital contributors to grassroots development.

“Workers are the backbone of every progressive society. Your daily sacrifices, often in the face of limited resources, are the true drivers of public service delivery and community development. Today, we celebrate your strength, resilience, and value to our local government and the nation at large,” he stated.

Alhaji Ayinla also used the occasion to reaffirm the commitment of the local government leadership to continue fostering a supportive and productive working environment for all staff. He emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and professionalism in the civil service.

He encouraged all workers to use the celebration as a time to reflect, recharge, and rededicate themselves to the principles of diligence and integrity in the discharge of their duties.
