Commissioner for Ministry of Community Development and Cooperatives, Hon. Ademola Balogun has felicitated the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on his triple celebrations of 65th birthday, sixth anniversary of his administration in the State as well as successfully hosting the 22nd National Sports Festival. 

In a congratulatory message signed by Hon. Balogun, the triple celebration was another opportunity to acknowledge the impactful and exemplary leadership of His Excellency,  Prince Dapo Abiodun.

The message added that the visionary leadership of the governor as encapsulated in the ISEYA mantra - Infrastructure, Social Welfare and Well-being, Education, Youth Empowerment, and Agriculture- had significantly transformed the State, noting that it had made Ogun State become Nigeria’s top investment destination of choice, with landmark initiatives such as the Gateway Agro-Cargo International Airport and the establishment of Tech Hub to integrate the youth into the digital economy.

The Commissioner also commended the Governor for his efforts in transforming the lives of citizens and residents in the State through various community and social development initiatives, geared towards strengthening community and deepening civic participation.

"Particularly commendable are your efforts in strengthening community development through the distribution of transformers to underserved areas and the consistent provision of grants-in-aid to CDAs and Subvention ACDCs—empowering local initiatives and deepening civic participation. These interventions have contributed significantly to the welfare and economic development of Ogun State."

“As you celebrate your 65th birthday, it is our prayer that God will continually bless and keep you, grant you long life, in good health and sound mind, that you may continue to be a source of pride to the people of Ogun and Nigeria at large.”
