The three Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senators from Kebbi State say they defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC),due to ideological disconnect and leadership failures within the PDP.

The senators Adamu Aliero (Kebbi Central), Yahaya Abdullahi (Kebbi North), and Garba Maidoki (Kebbi South) announced their decision during Tuesday’s plenary session via separate letters addressed to the Senate President.
