A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State and former Chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Engr. Olugbenga Olugbile, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Adha.

In a statement made available to newsmen, Engr. Olugbile called on Nigerians—especially Muslims—to embrace the profound lessons of sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) and to work towards the unity and peace of the nation.

He also congratulated the people of Ogun State, particularly the residents of Ijebu-Ode Local Government, noting that Eid-el-Adha serves as a powerful reminder of selflessness, obedience, and devotion—virtues essential for personal growth and national development.

According to him, “The essence of the sacrifice goes beyond spiritual fulfilment; it is also a call to contribute meaningfully to the progress of humanity and the advancement of our society.”

Engr. Olugbile prayed that Almighty Allah grants all Muslims the grace to witness many more Eid celebrations in good health and prosperity.
