2027: “Trump does not like Tinubu” – Lagos-based prophet reveals

Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has revealed that United States President Donald Trump does not like President Bola Tinubu and may be used by opposition forces to frustrate his 2027 re-election bid.

Speaking during the unveiling of the 2025 edition of his prophecy compendium, Warnings to the Nations, on Saturday in Lagos, Ayodele said Tinubu faces both internal and external threats to his second term ambition.

He said: “Two things may happen in the 2027 election. The coalition will use America against Tinubu. They may use the drug case against him. Trump does not like Tinubu. All these governors Tinubu is bringing into APC will not help him.”

The cleric warned that if Tinubu fails to secure re-election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) will collapse.

“If Tinubu fails, APC will go into coma. If the coalition survives, PDP will go. But if the coalition fails, PDP will resurrect,” he stated.

Ayodele also advised the president to reschedule the APC national convention, saying failure to do so could derail his political plans.

“Date of the convention should be changed. Trouble will start after the convention. If you don’t change the date of your convention, you fail,” he said.

The prophet claimed Tinubu has the potential to govern well but is surrounded by unhelpful allies and worsening public perception due to economic hardship and insecurity.

“Tinubu has the quality to do a second term, but he will fail. His lieutenants will work for the opposition,” he said.

He also warned of growing public dissatisfaction: “Nigerians are in pain, and Tinubu has not done much. There are a lot against him, so he must retrace his step.”

Ayodele said rigging would be at its “highest level” in the next election and predicted possible attacks on INEC offices.

The cleric also raised concerns about the president’s safety, urging a reshuffle in Tinubu’s security team and better fortification of his aircraft.

On the internal dynamics of the opposition, Ayodele said their success would depend on unity.

“El-Rufai and Amaechi will start the trouble within the coalition,” he said.

He added that Governor Nyesom Wike “cannot give Tinubu victory” and predicted a fallout between the two.

Ayodele, known for his apocalyptic and political prophecies, also declared Tinubu a “highly spiritual being” and claimed he would reincarnate if he dies.

“Tinubu is more than Tafawa Balewa, more than Awolowo. He is reincarnated. He is dynamic, a chameleon, a poison. You can’t eat him and go free. Even if he dies now, he will come back,” he said.

The prophet warned that ignoring his messages would be at the government’s peril and criticised church leaders for failing Nigeria.

“Churches are greedy and wicked. There’s no unity in Christendom. The church is part of Nigeria’s problem,” he said.

Ayodele also touched on international issues, forecasting instability across West Africa, the death of a former FIFA president, and internal crisis in the European Union and NATO.

He concluded by predicting fuel price increases, worsening hunger, and the failure of Nigeria’s football team at the World Cup unless urgent changes are made.
