A coalition of women groups across the Ogun East Senatorial District Led by Caucus 7202 Ogun East women for Yayi has declared their unwavering support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, ahead of the 2027 general elections in Ogun State.
The endorsement came during a well-attended political gathering held at New Era Hall, Ogbogbo in Ijebu-Ode, where representatives from various women-led organizations across the nine local government areas of the district pledged their loyalty and commitment to Yayi’s political ambition.
Speaking at the event, Hon Adebukonla Adesanya popularly known as Bukadex the Woman Leader of the Caucus 7202, highlighted Senator Yayi’s track record in grassroots development, women empowerment, and inclusive governance as key reasons for their endorsement.
> “We have seen what Senator Yayi has done, not only in Ogun West, but since his arrival in Ogun East, his impact has been felt. His empowerment programs, support for small businesses, and commitment to women's inclusion in governance are unmatched,” she said.
She further lauded Yayi’s legislative performance and community outreach efforts, especially in education, healthcare, and skill acquisition, which they say have directly benefited thousands of women and youths in the region.
Also present at the gathering was Chief Mrs. Olaotan, a veteran political mobilizer, who described Yayi as "a man of the people with a clear vision for a better Ogun State."
Also speaking, Hon. Olaseni Koiki, The President of the Caucus 7202, Women for Yayi urged the women to continue support the Ambition of Senator Olamilekan Adeola towards the upcoming General Election in the State.
As the 2027 election draws nearer, political analysts view this endorsement as a significant boost to Yayi’s growing popularity in Ogun East and a signal of shifting political dynamics in the region.
