Twin sisters from the Nowoola dynasty of Ijebu-Ode, Bisola Taiwo Mary and Bisoye Kehinde Martha Nowoola, have achieved a remarkable academic feat by graduating with first-class honours from the University of Wolverhampton, England.

The accomplished duo, originally from Nigeria, earned top degrees in their respective fields, drawing widespread admiration for their discipline, resilience, and unwavering pursuit of excellence.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, their father, High Chief Gbolahan Abdulrafiu Nowoola—the Kakanfo of Ilara Epe in Lagos State and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at The Lekki Country Club (TLCC)—expressed his immense pride in the achievement of his daughters.

“I am a proud father who leaves no stone unturned when it comes to the welfare and education of my children,” 

 “This doesn’t come as a surprise. The Nowoola family has a tradition of academic excellence and determination. This success was expected.” He said.

High Chief Nowoola also revealed that the twin sisters are considering postgraduate studies at Harvard University or possibly enlisting in either the Royal Navy or the United States Marine Corps.

“I want to use this opportunity to thank Almighty God. My heart is full of joy. I urge all parents not to neglect the education of their children—especially the female ones,” he added.

The Nowoola twins expressed heartfelt gratitude to their family, mentors, and peers for the support and encouragement they received throughout their university journey.

“We’ve always motivated each other to aim high and never settle for less,” said Taiwo.

“This achievement proves that with hard work, focus, and determination, anything is possible,” Kehinde added.

It is worth noting that their elder sister, Oyinlola Mozartina Nowoola, also graduated recently from De Montfort University in Leicester, UK, with her graduation ceremony scheduled to take place later this year.

With this major milestone behind them, the Nowoola twins are now setting their sights on postgraduate education and meaningful global careers. Their story stands as a powerful testament to the strength of sibling support, family values, and the enduring impact of quality education.
