Residents of Awokoya Road and Igbeba Talbort Yidi Lane community in Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State, have expressed joy over the recently commissioned roads, commending the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for rekindling their hope and making life more meaningful for them.

This was made known during an interview with journalists in Ijebu-Ode, saying the construction had boosted the socio-economic activities in the area.

A resident of Igbeba Talbort Yidi Lane, Mr. Niyi Jonathan commended the  present administration for embanking on the road construction, saying that Ijebu-Ode Local Government had developed significantly since the construction and commissioning of the roads. He added that the area was in a very deplorable situation during the rainy season, as vehicular movements were usually impossible at Yidi Road. He hinted that with the construction of the road, life had returned to normal for those living in the area.

Another resident of the Area, Engr. Olugbenga Olugbile, stated that during the rainy season, vehicular movement used to be stalled due to heavy flooding, appreciating the state government for constructing the road and drainage, which he said had made life more meaningful and commercially active for all the residents.
