The Kakanfo of Ilara Epe, Lagos State, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Lekki Country Club (TLCC), Chief Gbolahan Abdulrafiu Nowoola, is set to bring relief and smiles to over 500 individuals in his hometown, Ijebu-Ode.
This was disclosed in a statement released by the head of his media team, Hon. Akintunde Akinola.
According to the statement, the empowerment initiative will benefit over 500 people, cutting across political affiliations, ethnic backgrounds, and religious beliefs.
The program aims to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda and complement the efforts of the Ijebu-Ode Local Government Chairman, Hon. Dare Alebiosu.
It will be recalled that Chief Nowoola recently launched a series of outreach programs in honour of his parents, targeted at widows, persons with disabilities, and orphans. These ongoing initiatives have so far reached and supported over 750 individuals with a target of 5000 individuals.
Known for his philanthropy and selfless giving, Chief Nowoola continues to impact lives without expecting anything in return.
The statement also revealed that five individuals will be awarded scholarships to private universities of their choice, further underscoring his commitment to education and youth development.
Dignitaries expected at the event include: High Chief Ibukunolu Ojoshipe, Elder Taiwo Alepo, Chief Imam of Mokorede Mosque, Alhaji (Chief) Abdulateef Adigun Nowoola, Hon. Fatai Kukoyi, Ogbeni Shola, and Elder Moshood Igborodowo.
In the same vein, Chief Gbolahan Nowoola was recently honored with a Leadership Award by Epiphany Anglican Church, Odo-Oye, Ijero-Ekiti.
The award was presented in recognition of his outstanding leadership qualities and dedicated service to God and humanity.
