The National Chairman of APC Local Government Party Chairmen of Nigeria, Hon. Henry Fagbenro has congratulated the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, over the recent approval by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for the Gateway International Airport to commence scheduled commercial flight operations.

Newsangle reports that the Governor announced on Friday that the airport had officially received an Aerodrome Operational Permit from the NCAA, following a successful inspection, verification, and audit — making it the first facility in Nigeria to secure such an approval.

Fagbenro in a statement signed by him and made  available to journalists in Abeokuta described it as phenomenal.

He applauded the administration of Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun for witnessing the new development in the State.

The APC Chieftain praised the governor’s “unprecedented and exemplary leadership” for the great achievement.

"I  want to congratulate our amiable Governor, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun over the approval by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for the Gateway International Airport to commence scheduled commercial flight operations. This is a  welcome development and we are happy this is happening under your administration because you have worked for it. Your leadership style has been  outstanding.  This development will reshapes Ogun’s economic and political landscape" he concluded 

He therefore urged the residents of Ogun State to continue to support the administration of Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun as to take the State to a greater height.
