...Says President Tinubu Deserves Total Support
...As Foundation Promotes Unity and Progress in Nigeria
Renowned broadcaster and CEO of the Isele Nla Media Group Foundation, Omoba Olusoji Idowu Soewu, has called on political heavyweights in Ogun State to embrace peace, unity, and collaboration in the interest of the state's development.
Omoba Soewu made this appeal during a press conference held in Ijebu-Ode, where he addressed members of the media.
In his remarks, Soewu expressed concern over the ongoing political rivalries in the state, which he said were hampering collective progress and development.
" Take, for instance, the ongoing rivalry between the incumbent Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and former Governor Otunba Gbenga Daniel. This kind of division is detrimental to the collective interest of our people. We cannot allow personal ambitions and political differences to stall the development of our dear state,” he stated.
He urged key political actors to set aside personal grievances and focus on the welfare of the people, stressing that no meaningful development can occur in an atmosphere of discord and disunity.
On a national level, Omoba Soewu also expressed strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a visionary leader who deserves the total backing of all Nigerians, regardless of political affiliation.
" President Tinubu is at a crucial point in repositioning Nigeria. He has demonstrated boldness in leadership and commitment to difficult but necessary reforms. Now is not the time to undermine him but to support his efforts so he can deliver on his promises,” Soewu said.
He further called on Ogun State indigenes—especially those in leadership positions—to rally behind the President’s administration and contribute actively to national development rather than remain passive observers or critics.
Speaking about the work of his organization, Soewu emphasized that the Isele Nla Media Group Foundation is committed to amplifying unheard voices and fostering a shared identity grounded in peace, equity, and national pride.
He noted that the Foundation promotes a narrative of hope and resilience, encouraging Nigerians to find strength in diversity and embrace the opportunities that come through unity and collaboration.
