The Asọludẹrọ Ẹgbẹ Tobalase Akilẹ Ijẹbu, Hon. Ola Olufunmilayo, popularly known as Alaanu Omo and Senior Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun (CON), has once again demonstrated that true leadership is rooted in service and impact.

In celebration of his birthday, Hon. Ola chose a path of purpose—empowering grassroots members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in two wards within Odogbolu Local Government Area.

This latest gesture marks the second phase of his ongoing empowerment initiative, following a similar outreach in his hometown of Okun-Owa. 

During this phase, six beneficiaries each from Ward 6 (Aiyepe) and Ward 7 (Ososa) received financial support of ₦50,000.

Beneficiaries from Ward 6 (Aiyepe) are:

Beneficiaries from Ward 7 (Ososa) are :

2. Kemi Oyetuga

3. Adekoya Basira

4. Odunela Alice Omolola

5. Idowu Adepitan

6. Obedatul Adeniyi

In appreciation of their dedication, the Ward Chairmen present at the event, including the host chairman, also received ₦50,000 each as a token of gratitude.

In their Separate remarks, beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Ola for his benevolence and thoughtfulness.

“Thank you, sir, for putting smiles on our faces on your special day. God bless you abundantly,” said Mrs. Kemi Oyetuga.

Another beneficiary, Afolabi Rukayat, added: “Alaanu Omo, we appreciate your kindness and generosity. You are a true leader.”

Mr. Amos Ogundare, APC Chairman of Ward 3, praised Hon. Ola as “a pillar and a game-changer in the APC whose efforts will never go unnoticed.”

This empowerment drive is set to continue across all 15 wards of Odogbolu Local Government, reinforcing Hon. Ola Olufunmilayo’s commitment to grassroots development and his alignment with the progressive vision of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration.

Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Ola in his words "Our essence in politics and governance is to serve and deliver the dividends of democracy to our people, in line with the numerous laudable projects and programs of our amiable leader and Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun (CON).

The people of Odogbolu Local Government joined in celebrating Hon. Ola’s birthday and prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and divine favor as he continues his impactful journey in public service.
