The Chairman disclosed that the local government council under her watch had directly impacted more than 20,000 women and families.

“Since inception of my administration, the council has impacted over 20,000 women, by our calculation, the number is still growing day by day,” she said.

The Chairman further noted that her administration’s initiative also focused on agricultural empowerment through the distribution of seedlings, farm inputs, and capacity-building support to boost food production.

In his remarks, the Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), of the council area, Comrade Toyin Gbadamosi, said the initiative would continue to make women economically viable and independent, thereby enabling them to fulfil their potential.
