The Executive Chairman, Epe Local Government Council of Lagos state, Princess Surah Animashaun, has congratulated Lagos state Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as he clocked 57.

Princess Animashaun in a congratulatory message made available to journalists, said Dr. Hamzat had in the past six years-plus, far exceeded even the most optimistic expectations from his tenure in office.

In her praises of Hamzat’s achievements which Animashaun said were numerous to mention, she noted that this had garnered him the love and adoration of people of Lagos, young and old, male and female, especially in Epe division as whole.

She said; “We celebrate a statesman whose leadership blends vision with verifiable impact, humility with high standards, and public service with measurable outcomes for citizens, as a proud TEXEM alumnus, you exemplify the ideal we champion: a values-driven leader who coverts strategy into service and aspiration into inclusive, sustainable growth.

“Hamzat’s exceptional leadership and steadfast dedication to the task of bettering the lives of Lagos residents are showcased daily in the smoothness with which the administration of the state now runs.

“The deputy governor has demonstrated uncommon compassion and humility as well as a strong will and steely determination.

“You have consistently demonstrated that technology is not a luxury in public administration-it is the backbone of efficiency, transparency, and trust. Your early stewardship of Lagos’s digital transformation was catalytic.

“Under your watch as Commissioner for Science and Technology, Lagos became the first government institution in Africa to implement eleven Oracle ERP modules across the public service, integrating data, tightening controls, and curbing waste.” She said

The Chairperson of Epe local government describing Dr. Hamzat as a man of high intellect, deep political acumen and exceptional character, wished him a most memorable birthday in continued good health and prosperity.

Princess Animashaun prayed that the deputy governor be surrounded by the love and affection of his family, friends and well-meaning constituents.

For all Lagos residents, she prayed that they know the peace of the Almighty and that they live long in happiness, good health and prosperity.
