The Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) is set to honor some of Nigeria's most distinguished individuals and organizations at its 2025 Colloquium.

The event, themed "Leadership and Reputation: The Role of Public Relations in Building Trust in Nigeria,"   holds  on Thursday, October 9th, 2025, at the Theatre Hall, AA Entertainment and Tourism Ltd  formerly Park Inn by Radisson, Kuto Abeokuta at 9:30am.

The awardees include the  Inspector-General of Police, Dr. Kayode Egbetokun; Mrs. Olufunso Amosun, wife of the former Governor of Ogun State; Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, Rector of Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Igbesa; and AA Entertainment and Tourism Ltd, formerly Park Inn by Radisson among others.

This year's colloquium promises to be an unprecedented event, bringing together professionals, academics, and industry leaders to share insights and best practices on leadership and reputation management in Nigeria.

The colloquium will feature Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State and Patron of the Ogun State Chapter of NIPR, as the Special Guest of Honor. Akogun Adetokunbo Modupe, Chairman/CEO TPT International Limited as the Guest Speaker,  while the President, Nigerian  Institute  of Public  Relations, Dr. Ike Neliaku will declare the event open with Hon. Ladi Adebutu serving as Chairman. 

The statement informed that the  Chapter  is organizing the  event to promote nation building, encourage positive reputation, and lend a voice to matters of national concern.
