The National President of the Alumni Association of Ogun State Polytechnic of Health & Allied Sciences (OSPOHAS)ILESE IJEBU, Hon. Lanre Jaji charged the Association to be more dedicated to their duty as they hold a very crucial role in the dispensation of health care delivery in the country 

Jaji disclosed this on Friday during the 10th Biomedical Conference/Annual General Meeting of the Association of Medical Laboratory Technicians & Assistants of Nigeria AMELTAN Ogun State Chapter.

The National President also charged them to go back to their various institutions to contribute to the development of the Alumni Association of their various schools and make sure that cooperate with the National executive of their Alumni Associations so that they too can give back to their  Alma mata that produced them

The program which took place at SILOAM VALLEY HALL,BABCOCK UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL, ILISAN REMO,OGUN STATE had in attendance Professor Festus A Olajubu of the Department of Medical Lab Science,Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba  Akoko(Keynote Saker), Professor Barnabas  M. MANDONG,C.M.D, Babcock University Teaching Hospital, ILISAN Remo(Chief Host),Professor ADEJUMO,of the Dept of Medical Laboratory Science who was honored and awarded for her support to the Association and the department ,Comr.Elder Samuel A . OGUNTADE ,State Chairman AMELTAN (Host),Comr.SHEHU KASIMU(National President AMELTAN),Hon(Dr) Babatunde Diya(Executive Chairman, ODOGBOLU Local Govt,Ogun State(Chairman of the Occasion)who was represented by Deacon Stanley, Also the Father of Medical Lab Sciences and a renowned Medical Lab Scientist ,Professor Oshe was in attendance too,Comr. Popoola O.M(Organizing Sec. SWC/LEADERS/NATIONAL AUDITOR OSPOHAS ILESE IJEBU/CHAIRMAN CONFERENCE ORGANISING COMMITTEE) , Comr. BAMIDELE IDOWU (CHAIRMAN LOC/NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT ADMIN OSPOHAS ILESE IJEBU).

Also in attendance was the New Royal life Patron HRM,OBA MUTIU ALANI A OYEDELE - LAWAL(PHD)

The Oloola of Ilara Yewa(Sijuade Adukunu 1).

While delivering his goodwill message,to the dignitaries and members of the association, Jaji urged them to be committed in taking the association to a greater height.

At the end of the event, the Chairman Alternate Medicine, Chief Dr. Nurudeen Olaleye, Alawo Erin was appointed the Patron of the association.

The National President Comr SHEHU KASIMU commended the  Ogun State chapter of consistence holding of its Annual conference for the past 10years .

Also the State Chairman Comr(Elder) Samuel A OGUNTADE appreciated all the dignitaries that graced the occasion .
