The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has slammed the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara for terminating a youth project which he commissioned as governor of the state.

Wike accused the governor of cancelling the project which he claimed created employment for 10,000 youths across the state.

He disclosed this while speaking at the Ahoada main Town, during the Renewed Hope Family’s ‘Thank you visit’ to Ahoada East Local Government Area.

The minister who was flanked by his son, Joachim Wike and other supporters from the state accused Fubara of being “a bad child”.

“What is continuity? I employed 10,000 Rivers State youths, the person we handed over power to, instead of allowing the 10,000 youths, cancelled that job.

“A bad child is a bad child,” Wike said.

He also noted that Rivers State has lost its respect since Fubara assumed office as governor of the state.

“That’s how you know how human beings are. I handed over, see where I stopped, please make sure you continue with this program, which would make our state to be one of the respected states in this country.

“When I was here, you know Nigeria used to respect us but I don’t know what it is today, you will tell.

I didn’t make a mistake, we never made a mistake… I would not make a mistake in continuing to support Tinubu,” the FCT Minister noted.
