APC Leaders in Ogun Central Unite, Declare Aggressive Push for Party E-Registration Ahead of 2027

In a significant move to solidify its base, leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun Central Senatorial District have resolved to close ranks and launch an aggressive membership mobilisation drive, with a major focus on the ongoing party e-registration exercise.

The resolution was reached during a high-powered stakeholders' meeting held on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Abeokuta residence of former Governor and party leader, Chief Olusegun Osoba.

Presided over by the Senatorial District Chairman, Chief Sunday Sowunmi, the meeting emphasised that unity and inclusive leadership are critical for the party's success in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

Key Resolutions:

The stakeholders passed a unanimous vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dapo Abiodun. They mandated Local Government and Ward executives to immediately begin monthly stakeholders' meetings and launch vigorous campaigns to boost membership numbers through both INEC's Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and the APC e-registration platform, declaring this their primary performance indicator.

The leadership also condemned actions capable of destabilising the party, insisting that all disputes must be resolved through constitutional party organs and that personal ambitions must be secondary to the collective interest of the APC.
