2027: Group Congratulates Yayi On His Emergence As APC Consensus Governorship Candidate




A political group known as National Democratic Youth Future Hope has congratulated the Senator, representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, Yayi on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate ahead of 2027 elections.



The coordinator of the group, Comrade Raji Olatunde O disclosed this in a congratulatory statement personally signed by him and made available to journalists in Abeokuta.




He described the APC governorship candidate as the choice of the people, saying that he has impressed the people of the State with his developmental strides across the State, especially Yewa Axis.




Comrade Olatunde also commended the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun and the leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC for nominating Senator Yayi describing it as welcome development.






The statement reads " On behalf of members of National Democratic Youth Future Hope, i want to congratulate  Senator Adeola Olamilekan, Yayi on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate for the upcoming governorship election. This is well-deserved because he is the choice of the people, he has impressed the people of the State with his landmark achievements across the three senatorial districts and we are happy about the good news. I want to also commend our dear governor, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun for making this possible, our governor has shown to us that he is a man of his words because he has said it that by the time, he will hand over, he will hand over without any rancour and he has fulfilled his promise and i want to hail him for breaking the long-standing succession jinx. This is the first time in the history of Ogun State, he concluded




He therefore urged the residents of the State to rally behind the APC governorship candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
