A Government Laison Officer in Abeokuta South Local Government, Ogun State, Hon. Abayomi Tony Okanlawon (ATO) has sent an heartfelt congratulations to Senator Olamilekan Adeola, Yayi on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate for 2027 governorship election in the State.

Hon. Abayomi in a congratulatory statement personally signed by him and made available to journalists in Abeokuta described his emergence as well-deserved

He maintained that Yayi is a great performer, saying that he deserves to be the next governor of the State.

According to him, the governorship candidate has proven to the residents of the State that he is fit to succeed governor Dapo Abiodun.

Hon. Abayomi also hailed the governor of Ogun State for endorsing Senator Yayi, saying that he has chosen the right person.

The GLO also commended the former governors of the State  for being on the same page for the first time as part of efforts in ensuring progress of the party.
