Former Chairman of Ijebu Ode Local Government, Engr. Olugbenga Olugbile, has extended warm congratulations to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola following his emergence as the consensus gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ogun State.

In his message, Engr. Olugbile described the development as well-deserved, noting that the APC remains a party built on structure, fairness, equity, justice, and, above all, inclusiveness.

He emphasized that Senator Adeola must see himself as a true image of the party, adding that while he was not the only aspirant, it is important for him to build trust and embrace all members of the party going forward.

Engr. Olugbile also commended the incumbent Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, for demonstrating genuine commitment to the unity and sustainability of the party through inclusive leadership.

“Governor Abiodun has distinguished himself politically, administratively, and economically, placing Ogun State on a path of continued growth. He remains one of the great leaders of our time,” he said.

He urged party members to remain united and committed as the election approaches, stressing that victory can only be achieved through collective effort.

“Let us sustain the achievements of our great party and work together toward a resounding victory at the polls. The candidate belongs to the party, and it is the responsibility of all members to ensure success,” he added.

Engr. Olugbile further commended the leadership of the party at the national level, giving special recognition to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his strategic leadership, as well as the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda for strengthening the party’s structure across the country.

He noted that Ogun State is the first state in Nigeria to set a commendable example by producing a consensus candidate without rancor, describing it as a reflection of strong leadership and party unity.

Engr. Olugbile expressed optimism that Senator Adeola’s candidacy will further strengthen the APC’s chances in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, urging party members and the people of Ogun State to rally behind him in the interest of continuity, progress, and good governance.
