Former Chairman of Yewa North Local Government, Evangelist Titus Olusoji Eweje, popularly known as ASUJE, has paid a courtesy and appreciation visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Abeokuta residence following the successful celebration of his 70th birthday.
The birthday event, which attracted prominent personalities from across the country, was held recently at the DLK Event Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The visit was aimed at expressing gratitude to the former President for honouring the milestone celebration with his presence and support.
Speaking during the visit, Asuje thanked Obasanjo and all other well-wishers who attended the event, describing their presence as a great honour and source of encouragement.
"I am deeply grateful to Baba Obasanjo and everyone who took time out to celebrate with me on my 70th birthday. Their support and goodwill mean so much to me and my family," Asuje said.
Responding, former President Obasanjo appreciated Asuje for the visit and commended his longstanding contributions to humanity and community development.
"Asuje deserves recognition and accolades for his selfless service to humanity and his commitment to the well-being of the people," Obasanjo stated.
The elder statesman further prayed for the septuagenarian, wishing him continued good health, wisdom, and strength to sustain his philanthropic activities and service to society.
Asuje was accompanied on the visit by his aide, Hon. Joseph Akintunde, Pastor Olusegun Faleye, and other members of his entourage, who joined him in expressing appreciation to the former President.
