A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State and the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority, Engr. (Dr.) Deji Ashiru, FNSE, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, on his emergence as the APC Candidate for Ogun East Senatorial District following the successful conduct of the party primaries.

Engr. Ashiru described the victory as a clear testament to Governor Abiodun’s electoral strength, grassroots appeal, and remarkable leadership qualities, which have continued to earn him the admiration and confidence of the people across Ogun State.

According to him, the Governor’s emergence is also a reflection of his sterling performance in governance, particularly in the areas of human capital development, infrastructure renewal, security enhancement, economic transformation, and investment growth. He further highlighted landmark achievements of the administration, including the impressive growth of Ogun State’s GDP and the development of the Gateway International Airport, among several other impactful projects across different sectors.

Engr. Ashiru also congratulated the good people of Ogun East, noting that the Senatorial District stands on the threshold of a new era of purposeful leadership, quality representation, and impactful legislative service at the Red Chamber come 2027.

He expressed confidence that Governor Dapo Abiodun’s wealth of administrative experience and proven leadership capacity would greatly benefit Ogun East and further advance the collective aspirations of the people.
