FOUNTLINE KIDS FOUNDATION TO HOST STEM QUIZ COMPETITION FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN IJEBU ODE




The Fountline Kids Foundation has announced plans to host a STEM Quiz Competition for primary school students in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State as part of efforts to promote academic excellence and innovation among young learners.


According to a statement issued by the Founder of the Foundation, Ambassador Thompson Paul, the competition is scheduled to hold on July 1st-4th, 2026, at the Local Government Hall, Itoro, Ijebu Ode, beginning at 10:00 a.m.


The initiative, which is exclusively designed for primary school students within the local government area, aims to encourage intellectual development, creativity, and problem-solving skills in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).


Ambassador Paul noted that the competition would provide a platform for students to showcase their academic abilities while fostering healthy competition and inspiring greater interest in STEM-related disciplines.


He called on participating schools, students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support the programme, describing it as a valuable investment in the future of young people and the development of society.


The foundation advised all participating schools and students to arrive early at the venue for accreditation and proper coordination. Participants are also expected to come with their writing materials and be properly dressed in their school uniforms.


The organisers expressed optimism that the competition would be impactful and successful, while inspiring young minds to pursue excellence, innovation, and leadership in science and technology.


The Fountline STEM Quiz Competition is expected to attract students from various secondary schools across Ijebu Ode Local Government Area, creating an avenue for learning, collaboration, and academic advancement.


Speakers at the Event include Evangelist Joshua O. Ifede( The Ogun state executive chairman of SUBEB), ACP YUSUF WASIU( ijebu area commander), Rt. Hon. Clement Olusesan Adenaike, ( The council leader of the house) And Miss Ewaoluwa Taiwo ( The founder of El Elyon students community initiative)
