The Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC) has commenced the comprehensive renovation of its corporate headquarters as part of its commitment to enhancing staff welfare, improving operational efficiency and deliver quality services to the public.

Speaking during an inspection visit to the ongoing renovation project, at Abeokuta, Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing and Managing Director, OPIC, Arc. Abiodun Fari-Arole, described the renovation exercise as a strategic investment aimed at giving the Corporation's historic headquarters a modern facelift, while aligning its infrastructure with contemporary workplace standards.

Arc. Fari-Arole, explained that the renovation formed part of OPIC's broader transformation agenda to reposition the Corporation as a forward-looking, innovative and service-driven organisation, noting that beyond the physical transformation of the building, the project would be designed to provide a safe, conducive and motivating work environment that would enhance staff productivity, promote employee’s well-being and improve quality service delivery.

The Managing Director, revealed further that the scope of the project included; the complete remodelling of the exterior and part of the interior at the headquarters, installation of modern office facilities and equipment, upgrading of the safety and security systems and the replacement of the existing elevator, which had been out of service for over six years, to significantly improve accessibility within the building, adding that these improvements would create a more functional, comfortable and welcoming environment for staff, clients, business partners and visitors alike.

He emphasised that the overhaul exercise showcased the Corporation's unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation and operational efficiency, saying that a modern workplace was essential for fostering creativity and collaboration with stakeholders.

Arc. Fari-Arole, further assured stakeholders and members of the public that the renovation works would not disrupt the Corporation's day-to-day operations, stressing that all services and business activities would continue seamlessly throughout the duration of the project.

He reaffirmed OPIC's commitment to supporting the developmental vision of the Ogun State Government through sustained investments in modern infrastructure, institutional capacity building and the delivery of efficient, customer-focused services to the people of the State.
