Aare Adebayo Odunowo Celebrates Senator Yayi at 57, Hails Record of Legislative Service

Aare Dr. Adebayo Odunowo has felicitated Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, on his 57th birthday, describing him as a distinguished public servant and accomplished legislator whose political career has been marked by courage, diligence and commitment to public service.

In a birthday message issued to mark the occasion, Dr. Odunowo joined the senator’s family, friends, associates and people of Ogun State in celebrating his contributions to public service and representation.

He highlighted Senator Adeola’s political journey from the Lagos State House of Assembly to the House of Representatives and subsequently the Senate, noting that he had distinguished himself through legislative responsibility, public financial accountability and effective representation.

Aare Odunowo particularly acknowledged Adeola’s service as Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts and his subsequent leadership responsibilities in the Senate, including his role with the Appropriations Committee.

According to him, these responsibilities reflected the confidence reposed in the senator’s competence and capacity to contribute meaningfully to national development.

He also commended Adeola’s representation of Ogun West, noting that his interventions in the senatorial district had covered areas including infrastructure, education, empowerment, skills development and community advancement.

“Your journey has therefore become one of experience, ambition and a continuing desire to serve,” Odunowo said.

The birthday message also drew attention to Senator Adeola’s political ambition to contest for the governorship of Ogun State in 2027.

Aare Odunowo expressed confidence in Adeola’s capacity to bring his experience in public finance, legislation and governance to bear on the administration of Ogun State, if elected.

He prayed for divine wisdom, strength, good health and grace for the senator as he embarks on what he described as “another important chapter” of his political journey.

“I am confident that, by the special grace of God, your aspiration to lead Ogun State will succeed and that the opportunity to serve at the highest level of the state will become a reality,” Odunowo stated.

He further prayed that God would guide Adeola’s footsteps, surround him with people of goodwill and grant him victory in the political journey ahead.

According to him, Adeola’s leadership should ultimately contribute to building an Ogun State that is “prosperous, inclusive and worthy of its people.”

Dr. Odunowo concluded by wishing the senator greater accomplishments and enduring fulfilment, expressing hope that the years ahead would produce an even more remarkable legacy of service.

“Happy 57th Birthday, Distinguished Senator. May your best years of service still be ahead of you,” he said.
