Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has charged the intending pilgrims from the State to be of good conduct, kind, and united, as well as worthy ambassadors of the State.

Governor Abiodun, represented by his Deputy,  Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele gave the charge at the 2025 Hajj Farewell Ceremony for intending pilgrims at the Oba's Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, urging them to be good ambassadors of the State and Nigeria as a whole.

Eng. Salako, while addressing the intending pilgrims, charged them to obey constituted authorities, and urged them to pray for President Bola Tinubu, Nigeria, and Ogun State.

Earlier, the Executive Secretary Of the Board, Alhaji Ajibola Taiwo, advised all pilgrims to obey officials and adhere to guidelines for a successful and stress-free Hajj, emphasising that, cooperation with board officials and obeying rules would ensure pilgrims' safety, comfort, and spiritual fulfillment.

 Speaking, the State's Amirul Hajj, Alhaji Adebayo Apelogun, commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his remarkable leadership and unwavering support for the welfare of the intending pilgrims, saying his commitment was a source of strength to everyone partaking in the spiritual exercise.

Apelogun,  reminded the pilgrims that Hajj was a profound spiritual transformation, enjoining them to approach it with sincerity, patience, and humility, urging them to be exemplary ambassadors of Ogun State.

Earlier, Consultant to the Ogun State Governor on Islamic affairs, Sheik lskeel Lawal thanked the State government for providing moral and financial support for the Pilgrims.
