It was yet another moment of sobriety in Ijebu Land , particularly Imoru Ijebu as residents and many others trooped out yesterday at the Interment of their Monarch,Oba Munirudeen Adeposi Bashorun,the Orugbogbo II of Imoru Ijebu who joined his ancestors on Monday 11th August,2025.
Notable among the mourners were the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, Deputy Governor Engr Noimot Salako Oyedele and the House of Representatives member for Ijebu Ode, Odogbolu and Ijebu North East Federal Constituency Barrister Olufemi Adeleke Ogunbanwo and the clerics, residents and many other well wishers
The monarch whose demise was announced on Monday was well known as a loving community leader who freely contributed to the community and Odogbolu Local Government during his reign.
At the Interment, Omo- Iwa again expressed his condolences to the people of Imoru as well as friends and family of the deceased and called for the Late Monarch's legacies to be upheld.
Barrister Ogunbanwo OMO-IWA also held discussions with the Islamic clerics and thanked them and others present for their solidarity.
The federal lawmaker also assured the immediate families of the Monarch of his support whenever called upon.
He prayed for the repose of the Oba's soul and wished the people of Imoru Ijebu the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss
