An APC chieftain and Otunba Olausi of Imoru-Ijebu, Otunba Dr Adebayo Odunowo has extended deepest condolences to the entire Bashorun family and the people of Imoru-Ijebu over the passing of Oba Engr. Munirudeen Adeposi Bashorun, the Oru of Imoru-Ijebu, Alayo1.
This was made known in a statement made available to infopalavanews.com.
The statement reads further;
With profund sorrow and a heavy heart, I extend my deepest condolences to the entire Bashorun family and the people of Imoru-Ijebu over the passing of H.R.H., Oba Engr. Munirudeen Adeposi Bashorun, the Oru of Imoru-Ijebu, Alayob1, Orugbogbo 11.
I equally commiserate with Kabiyesi’s Olori and his children on the demise of their patriarch and worthy father. He was a tower of strength and a committed provider to his family.
Kabiyesi’s departure is a huge loss not only to Ogun State, to which he committed a good portion of his life as the Oru of Imoru-Ijebu Kingdom, but also to all Ijebu sons and daughters, as well as to the country at large.
Kabiyesi’s contributions to the nation-building can not be overemphasized; he not only elevated the Oru of Imoru-Ijebu throne with his knowledge and wisdom, he transformed Imoru-Ijebu from a rustic village into a modern and developing town.
Kabiyesi left us at a crucial state in our nation’s history when his wise counsel and rich experience are greatly needed. His death is a great loss to all those close to him because he proved to be a worthy father and had been ever so supportive of their dreams and aspirations. His words of advice and guidance were always golden and helpful.
It is my prayer that Almighty ALLAH will accept Kabiyesi’s soul into Aljanah Firdaus and grant the family he left behind the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable and irreparable loss.
Good night, Orugbogbo!!!
Till we meet again....
Otunba Dr. Adebayo Odunowo
Otunba Olausi of Imoru-Ijebu
