Vice President Kashim Shettima has said that posterity will commend President Bola Tinubu for taking difficult but necessary decisions aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians.

Speaking at the State House, Abuja, on Thursday, Shettima reaffirmed the President’s commitment to diversifying the economy, describing him as a leader with the political will to implement bold policies.

He disclosed that the Federal Government is considering the creation of a task team to design and operationalise a standardised architectural framework for the country.

The Vice President also highlighted the President’s recent visit to Brazil, where five Memoranda of Understanding were signed in the areas of aviation, foreign affairs, science and technology, and agriculture.

According to him, the agreements represent deliberate steps towards diversifying Nigeria’s economy.

“In President Bola Tinubu, you have an ally and a friend who grew up in the same ecosystem as you, who speaks your language of business and commerce, who understands the economic terrain, and, most importantly, who has the political courage,” Shettima stated.
