A prominent political figure and member of the Ogun State waste Board(OGWAMA), Aare (Engr.) Ajibola Fagade, has congratulated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola “Yayi” on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.

In a statement released to Newsmen, Fagade described Senator Yayi’s emergence as a testament to his political experience, leadership capacity, and widespread acceptance within the party.

He noted that the consensus arrangement reflects the unity and strategic direction of the APC in Ogun State ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

“Aare Fagade commends the leadership of the party for arriving at a consensus that prioritises cohesion and collective progress,” the statement read. 

“Senator Yayi’s track record in public service and his connection with the grassroots make him a strong candidate to lead Ogun State to greater heights.”

Fagade further urged party members and supporters across the state to rally behind the candidate to ensure victory at the polls, emphasizing the importance of unity in achieving electoral success.

He expressed confidence that Senator Yayi possesses the vision and competence required to build on existing developmental strides and deliver more dividends of democracy to the people of Ogun State.

The endorsement and congratulatory message add to the growing support for Senator Yayi within the APC, as party stakeholders continue to align ahead of the election.
