The Kakanfo of Ilara Epe, Lagos State, and APC leader in Ijebu Ode, Otunba Gbolahan Abdulrafiu Nowoola, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, following his emergence as the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ogun State.
In a congratulatory message, Otunba Nowoola, an accomplished hotelier and environmentalist, described Senator Adeola’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his years of dedication, loyalty, and impactful service to both the party and the people.
He noted that the decision of the APC to present a united front through a consensus candidacy reflects the strength, unity, and internal cohesion of the party in Ogun State.
Otunba Nowoola, who has previously contested for the positions of Local Government Chairman, House of Assembly, and House of Representatives in Ijebu Ode, expressed confidence in Senator Adeola’s capacity to provide purposeful leadership. He cited his legislative experience, grassroots connection, and commitment to good governance as key attributes that distinguish him.
He also commended the leadership of the party in the state, particularly the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, for promoting inclusiveness and unity, which paved the way for a smooth and rancor-free emergence of the party’s flagbearer.
