LAGOS — Amala Sky, a Nigerian restaurant brand known for its contemporary presentation of traditional cuisine, has introduced a 90-day promotional campaign offering customers discounts on selected meals throughout the Big Brother Naija season.

The initiative, being implemented by the restaurant’s Lekki Admiralty branch, offers a 20 per cent reduction on two meal combinations and is aimed particularly at residents and professionals living and working around Lagos Island.

The promotion is available through the BBNaija Corner on the Chowdeck food-delivery platform, giving customers the opportunity to order the discounted meals from their homes, offices and other locations covered by the delivery service.

One of the promotional options, the Amala Sky BOGOF Offer, consists of a goat-meat meal with an additional small portion of beef. The meal, previously priced at ₦9,700, is now available for ₦7,760 under the campaign.

The second offer, the Amala Sky Feast Combo, comprises amala, ewedu, goat meat and water. Its price has been reduced from ₦7,740 to ₦6,192.

The campaign comes at a time when rising food and operating costs have continued to influence consumers' dining choices, prompting restaurants and food businesses to explore ways of making meals more accessible without compromising quality.

Speaking on the initiative, the General Manager of Amala Sky’s Lekki Admiralty branch, Madam Anthonia Sheffield, said the promotion was conceived to give customers greater value while maintaining access to quality Nigerian cuisine.

“We recognise that many customers are becoming more deliberate about how they spend on food,” Sheffield said.

“Our objective is to continue making quality and delicious Nigerian meals available without requiring customers to spend beyond their means.”

Sheffield explained that the decision to sustain the promotion throughout the BBNaija season was deliberate, noting that the restaurant wanted customers to benefit from the initiative beyond a brief promotional period.

According to the management, the discounted meals will remain available for 90 days, subject to meal availability and delivery coverage.
