Wife of Ogun State Governor, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, has lauded the effort of the Executive Chairman, Ijebu North East Local Government, Hon. Folusho Badejo, for the provision of people-oriented and legacy projects in the Council Area.

Mrs. Abiodun, said this during the commissioning a block of two classrooms with an office and a store at Moslem Primary School, Ilese, Ijebu, noted that the Council Boss purposeful leadership and delivery of dividends of democracy had impacted positively lives of the people.

 "The construction and renovation of classrooms, provision of learning materials, installation of electricity infrastructure, construction of modern toilet facilities and the numerous solar-powered boreholes across communities in the local government, have demonstrated a clear commitment to improving education, health care, sanitation, access to clean water and the overall wellbeing of our citizens," she said.

Earlier in his address, Hon. Badejo, appreciated the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his guidance in achieving the milestone, saying it was a clear testament to the collective commitment to improving infrastructures and transforming the lives of the people.

‘’These projects are not just structures of blocks and cements, but evidence of our commitment to make life better for our mothers, fathers, youths and children in the ten wards of Ijebu North East Local Government," he said.

The Council Chairman revealed that the projects were in tandem with the Local government's Mantra ‘IREDE’, appealing to people of the community concerned to maintain and protect the projects.

Also speaking, the Secretary to the Local Government, who is also the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Mr. Omolaja Abidemi, appreciated God for the grace given to witness not just the project commissioning, but another milestone in Ijebu North East and its environs.

A community leader who also made a remark, Elder Elisha Adesanya, commended the State government and the local government Chairman for delivering the project, express optimism that the improved electricity supply would enhance business activities, support education and promote socio-economic development in the area.
